Bike Sales Excel Dashboard Project

This Excel dashboard analyzes sales data gathered on various metrics of people buying bikes worldwide for a fictional company. The tracked metrics include marital status, gender, income, education, age/age brackets, commute distance, and other factors that might influence bike purchases.

The data was cleaned and organized by creating new calculated fields to aggregate different data, as well as standardizing columns to make them more understandable for the audience. Many of these tasks involved various data cleaning measures, such as removing duplicates, using find-and-replace, and changing certain columns to the correct data types. I also used Excel formulas to aggregate data from different columns and create new measures to enhance the overall analysis.

Once the data was cleaned, I moved to another sheet to create pivot tables and charts to better analyze the trends. These pivot tables and charts helped break down different aspects of the data, making the trends easier to understand.

Finally, after reviewing the data through these tables, I created a new sheet with a dynamic dashboard that uses slicers, allowing for dynamic filtering and reviewing of the data based on the various influencing factors.

Coffee Shop Sales Excel Dashboard

In this portfolio project, I took an existing fictional Excel dataset for a coffee company to create a dynamic dashboard. I started by cleaning up the datasets to understand the specific needs of these franchised businesses.

From there, I created calculated fields to further my exploratory analysis and understand the factors that would help the business grow financially. Once I created the necessary calculated fields, I used each of them to create PivotTables in a new Excel sheet.

After creating different PivotTables to analyze sales by location, date, time, and products, I transformed the data into visual graphs and charts to help tell the story that the data was revealing. Lastly, after creating these charts and graphs, I added a Slicer. The Slicer makes the overall dashboard dynamic by allowing users to drill up and down through each of the franchised coffee locations to gain useful insights.
